Dear Parents/Caregivers,

Interviews for all children in all classes will be held at the school on

                                   TUESDAY 31st MAY from 3pm to 8pm

                                                 WEDNESDAY 1st JUNE from 3pm to 6pm

These fifteen-minute interviews are your opportunity to discuss your child’s progress this year.  Teachers would like all children to be at these meetings to discuss their achievements.  If at the end of these interviews there are issues that you wish to discuss further, please arrange with the teacher to make another appointment at a later date. You will be able to book your interview time/s by visiting Enter the school code z595z and click GO then follow the instructions. If you do not have access to a computer please book your interview/s with the school office. There will be a Health Expo run at the same time as the interviews on TuesdaySeparate details will follow, but I am excited to tell you that Jax Hamilton (Masterchef 2011) will be putting on a healthy meals demonstration in our school hall between 5.15 and 6pm

As part of our Fire, Earthquake (GO), and Lockdown (STAY) planning, we will be running a Lockdown Drill next week.

Most common reason for Lockdown in NZ are still swarms of Bees or Dogs on the grounds, yet other unlikely threats need to be prepared for as well, as you can appreciate.

We will be holding this practise on the morning of Wednesday 25th May.  Please note we will not be able to let parents into the classrooms or office during this practise which should take around 30 mins.

Thank you so much for your support with our Teacher Only day.

The Teachers’ in small groups visited 8 schools to observe best practice in teaching and the kind of environments that best support learning.

Hopefully, what we have learned will help us in the School Redevelopment and in the Teaching Practice here at School.

The Support Staff also, were on an intense First Aid Training all day to regain up to date, First Aid Certificates.

A very busy yet productive day.
